Status of Allottee post Cancellation

When does the status of the allottee revert post the cancellation?

Firstly, the status of the allottee signifies whether he can file a complaint before the RERA Authority.

If a partial refund has been made and the remaining amount is due, then the person shall remain an Allottee if no documents mention otherwise.

If a major chunk is refunded and the remaining is deducted as per the allotment letter or agreement and there is no dispute for the deducted amount and cancellation has been effected then that person is no longer an Allottee.

However, an Allottee can waive off his/her right to claim the remainder.
